WHAT IF?

we designed possibilities?

Every meaningful change begins with the courage to imagine it.

WHAT IF? is a global space of possibilities —a place where questions become ideas, ideas become collaborations, and collaborations become solutions.

Dedicated to addressing the challenges facing communities and our shared future, WHAT IF? is driven not by academic disciplines but by real-world needs. It brings together students, scholars, practitioners, innovators, and communities from around the world to explore fresh perspectives, develop practical responses, and imagine new possibilities.

WHAT IF? is an ongoing global platform where emerging thinkers bring forward initiatives inspired by their Fellowship experiences — developing ideas, exploring possibilities, and turning them into action.

Working alongside experienced mentors and partners, they have the opportunity to develop promising ideas into meaningful initiatives with the potential to reach far beyond the Fellowship.”

WHAT IF? will bring together fellowship projects, research, essays, exhibitions, conversations, community initiatives, and solution-focused proposals from around the world. It is the space where ideas are explored, challenged, refined, and shared—demonstrating that imagination, collaboration, and human creativity remain among our greatest resources for shaping the future.

The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.
